Glossier Brand Review

The brand Glossier has recently come onto the beauty scene marketed as a no-makeup makeup line. Their items are all very minimalist with natural finishes, including an impressive array of skincare for all skin types. I personally love a natural, dewy look so this brand really enticed me! I’ve reviewed a few of the products that most interested me, here are my thoughts!

Milk Jelly Cleanser

This cleanser is overall a really amazing product. It does a great job at taking off makeup and leaves my dry skin feeling SO moisturized. If you’re looking for a cleanser that will help with acne or other skin problems, this isn’t for you! While it’s great as a cleanser, it won’t do much else for the skin other than hydrating.

Milk Jelly Cleanser – $22

This is the newest addition to Glossier’s skincare lineup. I haven’t used this myself personally, but my best friend has been testing it since its release and is a HUGE fan. The exfoliating perfector brings dead skin to the surface and works to clear acne prone skin of blemishes, pores, and redness. The one downside is the fact that it does bring imperfections to the surface, but it clears them quickly. This seems like a great product to add to your routine as it evens out skin tone and aids in clearing blemishes, but don’t depend on it as your sole step in getting rid of imperfections.

Solution – $29

Mega Greens Galaxy Pack

This mask works to detoxify the skin without drying it up. The smell is mild and the application was super easy. It dries within 15-20 minutes and truly feels like a spa day at home! I would 100% recommend this product if you’re looking for a cleaning of the skin minus the dry factor.

Mega Greens Galaxy Pack – $27

Balm Dotcom

I haven’t been excited about a lip balm in awhile, but this one got me pretty pumped! The formula is creamy with out feeling thick, and has lasting moisture on the lips. It comes in six flavours, and I can’t wait to get every single one! The flavour I currently have, Birthday, tastes like the best birthday cake you’ve ever had! The tube is easy to get product out of and a little goes a long way.

Balm Dotcom – $15

This highlighter is REVOLUTIONARY!!! It’s creamy texture smoothes onto the skin and blends like a dream. I have the shade Quartz which is a champagne shimmer that’s guaranteed to flatter all skin types. There are three shades in total that are all equally as beautiful! The finish is so dewy and the most natural highlight I’ve come across. This goes great over any foundation as well as on bare skin. Please go buy this now!!

Haloscope – $27

Generation G Lipstick

This is my newest discovery from Glossier, and I’m honestly not sure how I lived without it. This matte sheer formula puzzled me in writing, but was so impressive on the lips. The bright shade I bought, Crush, would typically be difficult to apply but I swiped this on with no effort. This comes in six shades from natural to bold. It’s the most comfortable matte I’ve come across and isn’t drying whatsoever. This is my absolute favourite Glossier product!!

Generation G Lipstick – $20

What I’m planning to try from the brand next:

Lip Gloss – $17

Boy Brow – $20

Priming Moisturizer – $27

Thanks for reading and I hope you end up enjoying Glossier as much as I do!
